Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy , the main question that metaphysics asks is " what is real?" .many metaphysicians have came up with theories to answer this question each in his own point of view. One of the first metaphysicians was aristotle. A definition of metaphysics can be given as follows "the philosophical study of that which cannot be perceived with the five physical human senses". for me i see metaphysics as plato's allegory of the cave put it , imagining a group of people in a cave where they are trapped and everything inside that cave are just shadows ,now people who can have the courage and power to go out the cave will view the reality of these shadows that are coming fromoutside the cave where no one dared to go , and only then he can have a better understanding of what reality is and can then return to the cave to tell the people about the reality of the world of shadows they are living in .
